A leading global life & health reinsurance firm is looking to add talent to its Senior Medical Stop Loss Underwriting team. They're ideally looking for someone who has medical stop loss experience or experience working across group life, accident, and ancillary underwriting. In this role, you will be helping to underwrite and price new & renewal medical stop loss.
What you'll be responsible forโฆ
- Growing the scope of the underwriting department to assist with the pricing for new and renewal business
- Overseeing the intern program and developing jr. underwriters' understanding of the industry
- Build new and existing client relationships to discuss stop-loss renewal business
What you'll need to be successfulโฆ
- 4+ years within the underwriting industry, stop-loss underwriting preferred
- High level of technical experience using SQL, SAS, Python, R, or other similar software
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders
- Actuarial experience is preferred
