A global $100 billion investment manager is looking to hire an Associate to its Renewable Energy transaction team. The team focuses on efficiently deploying capital via structured credit and equity transactions. Associates are expected to take a central role, making impactful decisions on analysis, structure, and pricing of transactions. This position provides the opportunity to work on small deal teams in a fast-paced environment that requires a strong understanding of transaction execution.
The Position
- Conduct fundamental market and financial analysis of potential investment opportunities
- Prepare and present internal investment memos and presentations
- Collaborate and manage investment banks, legal and accounting firms, and other potential counter parties
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in STEM, finance, economics, or related field
- 2โ4 years of investment banking, rating agency, accounting, leveraged finance, strategic consulting, or private equity experience
- Strong accounting/financial modeling skills with knowledge and experience in GAAP reporting
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills - investment professionals are expected to interact with advisors and counter parties
- Knowledge and experience in rating agency methodology, securitization techniques, and legal documentation is preferred
