Responsibilities:
Screening and conducting due diligence on private equity investment opportunities
Performing in-depth research and financial analysis on companies and assets
Assisting with the preparation of due diligence materials, screening and investment committee memos
Interacting with external parties, such as industry experts and investment bankers, as well as with other areas of the firm internally, to enhance due diligence insights and identify new opportunities
Monitoring and reporting on firm's existing investments through regular interaction with operating managers, attending annual meetings of holding firms, reviewing quarterly financials, and performing portfolio analysis
Requirements:
Must have excellent academic credentials (both undergraduate school and GPA)
At least 4 years of top-tier investment banking and/or private equity experience
Must be ranked near the top of your class with exceptional quantitative skills
Must have strong judgement, critical thinking and written skills; ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in written form
Must show initiative and creativity in approach to problem solving; demonstrated experience in conducting research and interacting with others to develop solutions
Must have ability to multi-task with a fine-tuned attention to detail
Must have team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects
