Fund Operations Analyst | Pan Asia Fundamental Hedge Fund
Responsibilities:
1. Daily Fund Operations
- Facilitate trade settlements using tools such as Bloomberg Terminals, LSEG Alphadesk, and online banking portals.
- Reconcile trades/positions and address discrepancies by liaising with counterparties.
- Manage cash flow for trade settlements and other transactions.
2. Fund Valuation and Administration
- Compute and validate daily, weekly, and monthly fund performance estimates.
- Review and reconcile month-end NAV figures produced by the fund administrator.
- Compile documents and generate data as required by professionals in global financial institutions.
3. Miscellaneous Tasks
- Prepare fund newsletters, marketing presentations, compliance filings, etc.
- Report performance attributions, analyze portfolio compositions, and calculate risk metrics.
- Perform general office duties.
Requirements:
- University graduate, preferably with a background in financial accounting, data analysis, or risk management.
- Working knowledge in fund operations, audit procedures, market regulations, etc.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and self-managed, with a strong aptitude for numbers and a solid understanding of business ethics and compliance.
- Willingness to learn and apply AI to enhance workflow and outcomes.
- Interest in starting a career in the buy-side mid/back office.
- Proficiency in Mandarin.
