Role: HFT Quant Trader

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Senior HFT Quantitative Trader/Researcher to join a collaborative team of engineers, data scientists, and quantitative traders. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in developing and executing systematic strategies in the high-frequency trading (HFT) space.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative algorithmic trading strategies.
- Analyze and enhance existing trading strategies for optimal performance.
- Conduct rigorous backtesting of trading models.
- Collaborate with engineers to address HFT-specific challenges.
- Monitor market conditions and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Perform in-depth market analysis.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience with systematic trading strategies in the HFT space, including demonstrable performance metrics.
- Strong mathematical foundation, ideally with a background in a STEM field.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, market microstructures, and order book dynamics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to take ownership of projects while working collaboratively.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with digital assets.
- Experience with market making algorithms.
- Knowledge of stochastic calculus and dynamic programming.
- Proficiency in additional technologies such as RUST, AWS, and R.
