An exciting opportunity has arisen with an innovative German boutique Private Equity Investor who invest in technology/software SMEs across German speaking Europe. The role is to work closely with the firm's partners to institutionalize and lead their Investor Relations function with a view of growing the firm investor base ahead of their next fundraise and building out a distribution team in the future. While the firm is German based, this role can be worked from any location in Europe.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with the senior partners to develop the Investor Relations function
- To be 100% client facing as you manage and develop relationships with current and potential investors, updating them on the firm's activities and performance
- Pitch to new and current investors during fundraising cycles
- Develop a business development and marketing strategy alongside the senior partners.
- Attend regular meetings with the key potential investors
- Work with the wider firm to ensure marketing and sales materials are of the highest quality

Ideal Candidate
- Extensive experience and knowledge of dealing with Institutional, Wholesale, or Private investors with a relevant record of funds raised
- A book of Institutional, Wholesale, or Private Clients, regionally agnostic but any European coverage is a plus
- Experience in and knowledge of various private equity strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- c. 8+ years working within Investment Management โInvestor Relations
- Proficiency in German is a plus but not necessary
