A pioneering impact investment firm focused on inclusive growth of emerging markets is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to become responsible for executing all financial and administrative aspects of the company with support from an Operational Analyst and external fund administrators.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the timelines and quality of all reporting processes.
- Monitoring and reporting software and systems.
- Managing the annual audits of all entities and investment vehicles.
- Handling finance and administration of the company's corporate business, including financial forecasting, management reporting, management fee calculations, and cash flow management.
- Fundraising and Investor Relations: supporting the smooth and efficient financial onboarding of new investors and managing the capital call and distribution processes, supported by the fund administrators.
- Investing: ensuring due processes are followed around disbursements.
- Supporting the Risk Manager by collecting data and maintaining the Risk Registers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant working experience in a finance role, preferably in the investment management or banking industry.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or similar degree in finance or business administration.
- Experience with financial modeling and financial reporting processes.
- Excellent PC/MS Office skills.
- Native Dutch speaker (MUST) and proficient in English.
- Certificate NIBE WFT Basis (plus) or willingness to comply as soon as possible.
- Meticulous with a high level of accuracy.
- Passionate about finance, structure, and averse to clutter.
- Capable of handling multiple projects or processes simultaneously.
- Interest in sustainable investments or investments in emerging markets.
- Proactive team member, interested in working in an international setting, and capable of navigating between different teams and cultures.
- Excellent communication skills with a willingness and ability to proactively provide constructive feedback.
