Director of Investor Relations / Capital Formation responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive investor relations strategy that aligns with the firm's goals and values.
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with institutional investors, individual investors, and other stakeholders.
- Providing accurate and timely updates on investment performance, market trends, and economic developments.
- Creating investor communications materials such as presentations, reports, and newsletters.
- Coordinating and participating in investor meetings, conferences, and events.
- Addressing investor inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborating with legal and compliance teams to ensure all communications adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring industry best practices and trends in investor relations to enhance our approach.
Director of Investor Relations / Capital Formation Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics
- Experience interfacing with investors and raising capital
- Proven track record of 5+ years in investor relations, finance, or related roles within the investment industry.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and portfolio management.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of investors.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and presentation tools.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to the development of investor relations strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
*preference is for the individual to sit on the East Coast - but must be comfortable traveling
