Consulting Actuary

Job Description: My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consulting Actuary specializing in Medicare to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D programs, providing strategic consulting services to clients.
- Conduct detailed actuarial analysis, including pricing, reserving, and financial forecasting specifically related to Medicare products and programs.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering insightful guidance and delivering high-quality actuarial solutions tailored to client needs.
- Stay current with Medicare regulatory changes and ensure client compliance with CMS guidelines and standards.
- Assess and analyze risks associated with Medicare programs, offering recommendations to optimize financial outcomes and mitigate risks.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including other actuaries, analysts, and consultants to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
- Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation required.
- Extensive experience (10-15 years) in actuarial consulting within the Medicare sector.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare Advantage and Part D programs, including pricing methodologies, risk adjustment, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with actuarial modeling software.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex actuarial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering high-quality actuarial services.
