- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target and engage private banks in Hong Kong, with the objective of generating new business and increasing assets under management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including relationship managers, investment advisors, and senior management within private banks.
- Act as a trusted advisor to private banks, offering insights and guidance on our investment products, portfolio construction, and market trends.
- Conduct regular product presentations and training sessions for private bank staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to promote our investment solutions effectively.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including portfolio managers, product specialists, marketing, and client services, to ensure seamless client experience and timely resolution of any inquiries or issues.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments impacting the private banking sector in Hong Kong and share relevant insights with internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, including pipeline updates, revenue forecasts, and market intelligence, to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in intermediary sales, specifically within the private banking industry in Hong Kong.
- Deep understanding of investment products, including mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments, as well as portfolio construction techniques.
- Strong network of relationships with private banks in Hong Kong, including relationship managers, investment advisors, and decision-makers.
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must. Fluency in written Chinese is also a must.
