The firm seeks a dynamic and experienced Vice President to lead underwriting efforts within the Financial Institutions team, focusing on Directors & Officers (D&O) and Errors & Omissions (E&O) coverage for Asset Managers, Investment Banks, Private Equity firms, Insurance Companies, and Fintechs.
Role Overview: The Vice President, Underwriter - Financial Institutions, will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing the portfolio from the ground up. Leveraging deep expertise in underwriting within the financial services sector, the incumbent will be responsible for assessing risk, developing underwriting strategies, and fostering strong client relationships to achieve profitable growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and underwrite complex risks associated with Financial Institutions, focusing on D&O and E&O liabilities.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments by analyzing financial statements, regulatory filings, and other pertinent data to determine risk acceptability and pricing.
- Develop and execute underwriting strategies aligned with the firm's objectives and risk Monitor and manage an evolving portfolio, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and other stakeholders in the financial services industry.

Qualifications:
