One of the largest industrial conglomerates in the Middle East is expanding its Energy Trading business unit in Dubai.
The company trades 3rd party physical with an emphasis on the investment and upgrading of their refinery and energy trading practice across multiple regions. Active in the refined product and petrochemical space with an extensive marketing and trading network.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a 3rd party physical trading book.
- Initiate and conclude trades, implement hedging strategies and manage price risks.
- Control of market fundamentals, supply, demand, pricing mechanisms, blending characteristics, logistics, regulations, operations and contractual terms.
- Participate in the development of optimisation strategies with the supply chain.
- Build and manage relationships with existing & new suppliers and customers.
Individual Attributes:
- Successful track record with evidence of a positive P&L.
- Prior experience trading physical refined oil products.
- Willing to be based in Dubai.
