A large chemicals MNC is currently seeking out to hire someone with Marketing knowledge in the chemicals industry to handle their sales and marketing in Singapore. You will play a key role in achieving the organisation's targets for growth globally. You will also be able to make a direct impact on the firm by building up new products and business opportunities for expansion in the chemicals industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Sell a variety of chemicals to be used in different industries like automotive, food and plastics
- Ability to generate activity and results reports like territory analysis
- Gather market information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques
- Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by calling existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
- Manage sales pipeline to drive new business opportunities to commercial success
- Forecast sales to enable operations planning, introduce product innovations and maintain active memberships
- Conceptualise marketing strategies for new products and develop new business opportunities for growth
- Foster a strong relationship with existing clients and develop new customers globally
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of sales and marketing experience in chemicals related industries
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication and analytical skills
- Experience working with people in foreign companies is preferred
