A leading American financial institution is currently building out their second line of defense and is looking for a risk professional, skilled in data governance, data visualization and risk reporting to join their organization. In this position as a quantitative risk analyst, this person will be a key member of a team responsible for identifying and improving gaps in the current risk framework and assessing existing practices and regulatory requirements. This role could sit in San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX or Phoenix, AZ!
You Will Find Yourself Doing the Following:
- Assessing future risks by way of advanced analytics
- Translating quantitative data into effective risk reports, contributing to business strategies
- Applying advanced knowledge of industry best practices to quantify risk and aggregate exposures
- Developing systems and programs to measure aggregate risk exposures
- Presenting your findings and suggestions to senior leaders in the business
What We Need from You:
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics etc.
- Must have at least 4 years of experience in a relevant role, providing quantitative analytics in a risk setting
- Must know Python
- Knowledge of PPTX is enouraged
- Experience working in Tableau , SQL, SAS, or R
- High level of experience in data reporting, data analytics, data automation and MIS
