Client Summary
Our Client is a tier 1 US Hedgefund that has over 100+ Billion USD in AUM with deep integration in the APAC market. They are looking for senior compliance individual who will be capable to cover APAC compliance sitting with the APAC CCO.
Job Responsibilities
- Support Compliance and Legal with ongoing APAC business
- Implement and enhance of compliance program
- Coordinate with the firm's internal and external stakeholders to
- Manage fund registrations and ensure compliance with ongoing reporting obligations in relevant jurisdictions including the Cayman Islands, Singapore, Korea and Japan
- Support implementation of regional compliance training plan and delivery of new hire and periodic compliance training
- Support licensed representatives in Hong Kong in preparing SFC notifications and other submissions
- Assist the APAC CCO in ensuring compliance with ongoing SFC, CIMA, SEBI, AMAC & IAMAC requirements
Job Qualifications
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior legal or compliance experience in SFC licensed organizations (ideally in Hedgefunds, Asset managements or Private Equity firms)
- Preferably a law degree from a well-respected law school and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin
