Summary
A rapidly growing financial data research and analytic company is looking to expand their sales team with a new full-time Sales Executive. Your main focus will be in growing the existing book of business by identifying and qualifying new and existing leads, as well as, working with the Account Managers to maintain relationships with existing accounts. Their products are used by 350 of the leading investment banks, hedge funds, and asset managers.
As the Sales Executive you will be responsible for:
- Generating sales from new clients acquired via prospecting and lead qualifying
- Owning the full sales cycle from initial outreach to on-boarding
- Identify and target new potential clients at institutions such as Banks, Hedge Funds, and Asset Managers
- Facilitate contract negotiation with legal teams as necessary
- Utilizing CRM to log activity and develop an accurate pipeline
- Work closely with the COO, Account Management and Product Support teams
The Sales Executive should have the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in a sales or sales support role
- Experience in prospecting and generating new leads (Global contacts experience is a bonus!)
- Ability to create/edit complex contracts and handle them from beginning to end
- Bachelors in a technical, business, or financial discipline
- Financial Markets knowledge is required while direct equities experience is beneficial
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding performance goals
