The Role
Financial analysis of a wide range of real estate transactions, including modelling of real estate cash flows, financing assumptions, IRRs, output sensitivities etc., as well as research to support key underwriting assumptions
Analysis and interpretation of real estate, economic and public company data, including financial statements, to conduct valuation and operational bench-marking
Assistance in deal execution including managing internal work-streams, liaising with external brokers, liaising with JV partners, etc.
Preparation of documents for internal and external purposes, including assembly of investment committee memos and presentations to JV partners
Ability to work well within a small, relatively flat team
The Person
2-4 years of experience within a top tier private equity firm or investment bank
Comprehensive coverage of the full cycle of equity transactions and acquisitions
Robust analytical and technical / financial modelling skills
Proven experience in investment / financial analysis and transaction support for all asset classes
Energetic, self-motivated and a team-oriented individual who thrives on a challenge in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Professional and positive attitude, diligent
Willingness to work across time zones and geographies in Europe and USA from time to time, as required
Experience in presentation preparation and research
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
Fluency in English essential and German or French preferable
