Title/Role: Project Manager (Tech Ops) AND/OR Business Analyst (Listed Derivatives)

Summary: A large and well-known investment bank and financial services firm is looking for a Proj. Manager (PM) and a Business Analyst (BA) to join their company. The firm is headquartered in France and has an international presence in more than 60 countries. They are also a mission-oriented firm that has a focus on sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- PM: leadtransversal/cross divisional projects to support the MARK businesses
- Project planning, defining budgets, deriving varied streams through all phases of SDLC
- Interface w/ senior business and IT sponsors
- Manage the client relationship and provide clear reports
- Conduct formal studies and analysis leading to recommendations for strategic solutions
- BA: Ensure business requirement analysis activities
- Ensure the functional design of the product delivered by the team
- Ensure functional quality of the product and production stability
- Support members of the team and their functional activities
- Ensure integration of the product in the IS in sync with the functional architect
Qualifications:
- PM
- Knowledge of trading and brokerage operations - front to back processing
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, appropriate to a given audience, (technical, functional, etc.)
- Ability to communicate to a wide range of clients.
- Ability to analyze complex workflow methodologies and make process re-engineering automation recommendations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to interact with a variety of clients and support staff - traders, middle office, development, infrastructure, etc.
- Must be able to provide accurate estimation of work effort, and effective status to management as well as clients.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks in parallel
- Approximately 10 years of experience in financial sector.
- Knowledge of Fixed Income or Equities instruments.
- Strong delivery management skills & functional architecture experience.
- BA
- Strong understanding about the Listed Derivative (Futures) asset class and associated workflows and compliance
- FIX protocol
- SQL preferable but not essential
- Effective Communication (verbal and written) and Presentation skills
- Ability to make and implement strategic decisions
- Sound analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact comfortably with a variety of businesses, management, and control functions across the bank.
