Pre-Sales Executive -- Portfolio Management & Risk Analysis
We are currently partnered with a Fintech start-up that provides risk and portfolio management software to buy-side firms to allow institutional investors to hedge risk against their quantitative strategies. The firm sells this software to leading Asset Managers, Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, and Private Wealth Managers. While constructing portfolios and performing factor and risk analysis, we are looking for an expert within the space to help promote explosive growth.
In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of Business Development. This is an incredible opportunity to grow within a small firm with a very competitive compensation structure.
The Pre-Sales Professional would sit in New York and be responsible for:
- Support the Seniors Sale Executive with in-depth product and business knowledge
- Work with the product development teams to capture new customer requirements and develop and expand the product suite
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the company's products and service offerings and methodologies
- Represent the company in a professional manner and build good relationships with clients to the company's benefit
The Pre-Sales Professional should have the following qualifications:
- Knowledge of factor models
- Experience with Python
- Strong presentation skills
- Risk and portfolio software experience
- Experience with middle and back-office software
- Understanding of financial markets with a strong mathematical background
- Desire to work in a fast paced start up like environment
