Responsibilities
- This position will be strictly based in Singapore
- You shall be responsible for drafting, preparation & negotiation of contracts/relevant documentation, to ensure contract is drafted and reviewed by finance and all terms are as per the deal confirmation in terms of specifications/price/shipping terms
- Coordinating with Buyers & Suppliers on contract execution.
- Maintaining of contract data register & reporting.
- Liaise with supplier/client/freight team on laycan, port of loading, discharge port laycan, declaration of coal type / quantity in accordance with agreed terms.
- Following up with clients to issue letter of credits, following up on vessel nomination & acceptance, sending shipping instructions to supplier/agents,
- Follow up on shipping documents, checking of shipping documents against LC and ensuring that documents are compliant as per LC terms, BL checking & switching, LOI preparation
- You are required to manage a team of junior and senior executives
Requirements
- Relevant degree and any related field
- At least 7-10 years of experience in coal or any dry bulk related products cargo operations
- Ideally from trading environment
- Prior experience managing a team
- Good team player
- Good communication skills
- Meticulous and decisive
- Strong problem solving skills
