Our client, a fast growing impact asset management firm, is looking for a manager to join their risk control team as "Head of Risk Controlling" in their office based in Frankfurt.

The company has managed an asset portfolio of €5bn across the past ten years and is focused on ensuring it achieves economic returns whilst positively improving its social and environmental impact.

Key responsibilities:
●Maintain and further develop risk management processes, methodologies, and tools for IFRS 9 impairment, credit rating, stress-testing, risk limits, monitoring and reporting
●Coordinate budgeting, cost management, efficiency monitoring and benchmarking for risk processes
●Assume ownership over identification, measurement, monitoring and control of risks, particularly credit, market and liquidity risks.
●Coordinate the implementation of new processes and tools for credit risk management and monitoring

Requirements:
●Fluency in English and German.
●Familiarity with IFRS, credit risk (PD, LGD, EAD), and market risk (VaR, CVaR) modelling concepts.
●Understanding of AIFM regulatory framework in Germany and Luxembourg SICAV SIF regulatory framework an advantage.
●Portfolio-level risk control experience at an AIFM, bank or other regulated credit institution.
●Tech savvy with automation solutions market, risk management software and/or with R is an advantage.
●Minimum 5 years' experience.
