We are currently working with a reputable full-service Investment Bank that is seeking an experienced M&A lawyer to join their Legal team. While they historically have been strong in the healthcare and life sciences industries, they have been expanding into other sectors and this position is a growth hire to support the firm's expansion. The role is transactional in nature and you will have the opportunity to work on deals across all industries the firm covers. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to be part of a collaborative team while also having a high impact in a lean environment.
Responsibilities:
- Play a critical role in M&A transactions by helping drive deal execution, drafting and negotiating deal documents, and advising on transaction structuring
- Act an an internal advisor to senior stakeholders and heads of various banking teams to provide legal counsel on an as-needed basis
- Provide support on regulatory matters as they arise
- Provide general corporate support and advice to the firm itself
Requirements:
- JD from a top tier Law school
- 4-8 years of experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house within an Investment Bank
- Experienced with M&A, Private Equity and Capital Market transactions
- Strong written and oral communication skills
