A well-capitalized and rapidly growing global quantitative trading firm in the digital assets space is hiring across the board! We're hiring Quantitative Researchers at all levels, in addition to Quant Development talent.
We are looking for a Head of Quantitative Research to join our team in NYC. This individual will be working directly underneath the CEO to drive the firm's overall Quant Research & Trading efforts. The team is comprised of traditional finance veterans coming from world renowned quantitative trading firms, HFT firms, investment banks, and more. No crypto experience is required, but an interest in the space is!
Requirements:
- 5-10+ years of experience at a top Quant Hedge Fund or HFT Firm
- Extensive alpha research experience is a MUST.
- Strong programming skills (Python, C++)
- Managerial/Mentorship experience is a plus (not required)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the firm's Quant Research & Trading efforts - HFT MM, Statistical Arbitrage, and more (will discuss in interview)
- Generate profitable trading strategies in the systematic crypto space
- Identify feasible investment opportunities in niche areas (IE DeFi, etc)
- Operate as a true Partner to firm leadership as we grow into one of the world's top crypto asset management entities
