Our client is one of the fastest growing multi manager Hedgefund in Hong Kong with very good traction of hiring top-end talents. They would like to add a new headcount in their operations team (currently a team of 4).
Responsibility:
- Perform fund operations work including trade booking, cash and positions reconciliation, corporate actions monitor, NAV Verification, payment arrangement, reporting, etc
- Monitor day-to-day fund administration including liaison with fund administrator, prime brokerage, outsourced middle office and vendors
- Work closely with traders and portfolio managers on trade related portfolio, and P&L inquiries
- Liaise between prime brokers, execution brokers, fund admin and vendors to resolve any settlement issues/ breaks
- Proactively investigate and resolve discrepancies in an accurate and timely manner
- Ad hoc requests from brokers including account opening, KYC, connectivity, etc
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Business or Finance related discipline
- 3-5 years' experience of Fund Operations/ Fund Accounting, ideally in buyside (Candidate over 7 years of experience is not going to be considered nor reached)
- Good understanding of Enfusion/ VBA will be a plus
- Solid knowledge of a wide range of investment and financial products
- Strong analytic, problem-solving skills and detail-oriented individual with strong understanding of fund operations process
- Detail oriented and good with numbers
- Good command in English and Mandarin
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Associate
