A leading global asset management firm is looking to add an Analyst to their Private Debt practice based in New York. The Private Debt team has $50BN+ in AUM and targets debt transactions across corporate, real estate, infrastructure, and others. Analysts will be responsible for performing research and due diligence on General Partners across Primary Funds, Separately Managed Accounts, Secondaries, and Co-Investments. Analysts will receive strong exposure with all levels of the firm.
The Position:
- Analyze financials and performance track records provided by target funds
- Perform market research to analyze macroeconomic trends across credit strategies
- Design and present potential investment opportunities to investment committee memos
- Participate in meetings with fund managers to conduct due diligence
- Monitor and review performance of existing fund manager investments
Desired Skills and Experience
- 1-2 years of relevant prior experience in investment banking, private equity, accounting, or related field
- Demonstrated track record of academic excellence
- Strong analytical, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate with senior leadership and fund managers
