Position Overview:
As a Mining Equity Research Associate, you will play a pivotal role in our research team, providing in-depth analysis of mining companies, commodities, and market trends. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting extensive financial analysis of mining companies, evaluating their performance, and identifying potential investment opportunities.
- Monitoring commodity markets and keeping abreast of industry developments.
- Preparing detailed research reports and investment recommendations.
- Collaborating with our team of experienced analysts to provide insights to clients.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field/ industry experience.
- 3-5 years of work experience withing the Mining Sector, at least 1 year of experience in Financial Services/Investment Banking/Corporate Banking.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Knowledge of the mining and natural resources sector.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team.
