- Outline risk goals for the business banking team
- Define risk capabilities for preparation of recession as a precaution.
- Identify opportunities to maximize risk policies & strategies by following trends and changes.
- Continually cultivate internal & external relationships with stakeholders.
- Set clear expectations for the business to reduce cost, improve performance, and minimize risk.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in managing credit risk, preferably in the banking or fintech sector.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
- Experience using data & analytics to build credit decision frameworks.
- Capable of using tools such as Python, SQL, SAS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven track record of success managing medium to large teams.
Good to have:
- MBA, or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- Previous exposure with regulatory agencies.
- Business banking and retail credit knowledge.
