Responsibilities:
- Collects and verifies information and reports from counterparties and other sources for the preparation of counterparty credit review reports;
- Assesses the credit risks and financial strength of new and existing counterparties
- Prepares credit review proposals for review of the Credit Committee;
- Monitoring of counterparty credit limits to ensure suitability within an established credit risk appetite limits and policies
- Develops improvements in credit risk procedures and processes
- Provide support in credit risk management projects as directed by the Head of Credit
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level in business/finance/accounting, or an analytically based discipline and demonstrable in-depth experience and background in credit risk
- Fluent in Mandarin with experience in providing financial analysis and credit risk assessments in English and Chinese
- Understanding of commodities, futures and options, OTC FX & precious metals products, including market
