Responsibilities:
- Own the Company's proprietary scoring model, including performance reporting, change implementation, evaluation of new variables and data sources
- Develop, leverage and manage complex predictive models and credit strategies
- Enhance reporting around scoring model, delinquency, and overall portfolio performance, providing actionable insights to senior management that result in value creation
- Manage the development and testing of new innovative origination strategies
- Evaluate the Company's data infrastructure and recommend improvements that will drive improved analytic work product
- Lead the portfolio and credit review function providing insights and reporting to executive team
- Work closely with teams to implement and communicate insights and/or changes to scoring infrastructure
Qualifications:
- 8-12 years of experience in credit risk management, with exposure to small business lending
- Track record of driving business value and growth by leveraging analytics and innovative solutions
- Advanced degree in an analytical field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science/engineering or similar
- Extensive experience with SQL, R and other analytical/decisioning tools
- Team player who can work across functions and effectively communicate with senior management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to share findings with a large, non-technical audience
