Job Title: Associate / Vice President - Real Estate Private Equity

The firm focuses on high-return investments in municipal finance and commercial real estate, with a particular emphasis on multi-family properties. The firm employs a special situations strategy, seeking mispriced assets and high-reward opportunities rather than traditional turnaround projects.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced professional to join the firm's Portfolio Management team. This position can be filled at either the Associate or Vice President level, based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. The role involves working within a lean team of 10-15 investment professionals to manage and execute the firm's investment strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Analysis: Identify, analyze, and evaluate investment opportunities in commercial real estate or multi-family properties, depending on your experience level.
- Financial Modeling: Conduct detailed financial modeling, valuations, and due diligence on potential investments.
- Strategic Execution: Support or lead the acquisition process and contribute to the development and implementation of investment strategies.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage investment performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Qualifications:
- Associate Level: 2-4 years of experience in real estate private equity or related fields with a focus on commercial real estate.
- Vice President Level: 6-10 years of experience in real estate private equity, with significant expertise in multi-family investments and special situations.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and valuation techniques. Ability to manage high-return, opportunistic investments and special situations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred for VP level.
