Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze loan applications, credit reports, and financial statements to assess borrower eligibility and risk factors.
- Collaborate with loan officers to gather necessary documentation and ensure all required information is complete and accurate.
- Evaluate property appraisals and market conditions to determine loan viability.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on current market trends and lending practices.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations throughout the loan process.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management on loan origination metrics and trends.
- Assist in the development of best practices and process improvements for the loan origination team.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing borrower inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in loan origination, underwriting, or a related financial services role.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with loan origination software.
- Knowledge of real estate lending regulations and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
