Our client, a leading sell-side financial institution, is seeking a VP-Level C# Developer with strong back-end development expertise to join their Middle Office technology team. This is a hands-on role within a growing Middle Office team supporting the Fixed Income Desk, working primarily on desktop applications and directly contributing to trading operations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop back-end C# solutions, primarily for desktop applications, with occasional involvement in web-based applications (no prior web experience required).
- Design, develop, and enhance a bespoke middle-office system supporting trading activities.
- Collaborate closely with traders, quants, and other stakeholders to deliver high-performance solutions.
- Integrate third-party platforms with internal systems and provide production support as needed.
Key requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in back-end C# development within finance, banking, or fintech.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and messaging systems (e.g., FIX, IBM MQ).
- Familiarity with .NET Core, Microsoft Azure, and web technologies.
