Position Overview: Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Actuary - Pricing Manager to join their team. This role is fully remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere. (No sponsorship available). The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of commercial lines pricing experience, with a strong focus on general liability. This position requires a proven track record in managing teams and a deep understanding of actuarial principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the pricing team, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of pricing models and strategies.
- Develop and implement pricing methodologies for commercial lines insurance products, with a focus on general liability.
- Analyze data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for pricing adjustments.
- Collaborate with underwriting, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment of pricing strategies with business goals.
- Mentor and develop junior actuaries, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to inform pricing decisions.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- ACAS to FCAS designation required.
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in commercial lines pricing, with a strong emphasis on general liability.
- Proven experience in managing and leading teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Proficiency in actuarial software and tools.
