A prestigious investment bank, recognized for delivering high-impact financial advisory services in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and restructuring is looking to hire an experienced professional to join their Restructuring team.
In this role, you will provide strategic advice on restructuring transactions and distressed M&A. This leadership position offers the opportunity to manage execution, build and strengthen client relationships, and mentor junior team members, contributing to the overall success of the team and firm.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of solid experience in Investment Banking, with a focus on M&A, capital raises, balance sheet restructurings, or liability management banking.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, working under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards.
- Strong collaborative skills, with experience working alongside senior leaders and communicating effectively with clients.
- Exceptional attention to detail, demonstrated leadership capabilities, and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas to clients and colleagues alike.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive day-to-day transaction execution, ensuring the timely completion of due diligence, and managing all relevant ad-hoc tasks.
- Draft and prepare marketing materials such as pitches, teasers, CIMs, and management presentations to effectively communicate strategic initiatives to clients.
- Conduct in-depth financial analyses of distressed and stressed companies, analyzing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow to support M&A and capital markets transactions.
- Build, review, and maintain complex financial models while performing detailed valuation analyses to inform key business decisions.
- Collaborate closely with clients to determine optimal strategic positioning and identify potential alternatives, ensuring successful transaction outcomes.
- Identify and approach appropriate investors or potential strategic and financial buyers to advance transaction goals.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and business referral sources, strengthening the firm's market position.
- Play an active role in business development efforts, contributing to the expansion of the pipeline and identifying new opportunities.
