We are working with a leading hedge fund looking to add a Quantitative Researcher to its centralised research team, focusing on collaborative signal generation and alpha research. This team works across asset classes, leveraging large and diversified datasets to develop high-quality predictive signals that feed into systematic trading strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and develop predictive signals by identifying statistical patterns in large-scale datasets.
- Collaborate with traders, data scientists, and technologists to enhance research methodologies and signal performance.
- Implement signals within the global execution platform and monitor model behaviour over time.
- Lead the full strategy research cycle, from signal generation to deployment in live trading environments.
Key Requirements:
- Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong experience in statistical modelling, machine learning, or AI-driven research.
- Proficiency in Python, R, Matlab, or C++ for data analysis and model development.
- Experience working with large and high-dimensional datasets across multiple timeframes.
