AVP / VP Sales & Relationship Management
Role:
- Actively pursue sales opportunities, engage with potential clients, expand into new markets, and increase penetration with existing clients across the full range of investment fund services.
- Schedule meetings, prepare, and deliver sales presentations.
- Manage your sales pipeline, document, and report all sales activities.
- Collaborate closely with client relationship management teams on all client sales opportunities.
- Identify product enhancements and work with product management to improve services.
- Support and involve the regional Head of Sales and Relationship Management and the broader team to grow the funds business in Hong Kong, Greater China, and North Asia.
- Coordinate with other teams within the organisation to ensure smooth product delivery.
- Implement the global fund services sales strategy within your local regional coverage.
- Actively participate in conferences, seminars, and speak at industry events.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of SFC regulations and guidelines.
- Keep professional knowledge up-to-date, stay informed about general market updates, industry developments, and competitors' activities.
Requirements:
- University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 6+ years of work experience in the financial or asset management sector, ideally in Sales or Business Development.
- Strong client-facing, marketing, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, customer-focused, able to act independently, and work well as a team player.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Mandarin, Cantonese, and other Asian languages is a plus.
- Current SFC Type 1 and/or Type 4 Responsible Officer or Licensed Representative.
